hmm. i only have five days left to do my taxes.
bother.
here are other things i haven't done yet:
catalog and organize my dad's family pictures so that we can make
copies and return them to my aunt, his sister, in kansas.
finish entering the notebooks full of my grandma (mom's mom)'s
cousin's genealogical research into my geneaology computer program.
(like probably half the people alive of european descent by now, i seem to
be a direct descendant of charlemagne. via the hills of tennessee,
colonial virginia, and younger sons of english royalists.)
catalog and organize our family home videos, in preparation for
transferring them to DVD once i get the proper equipment.
look into preserving my grandpa (dad's dad)'s old home movies, hidden
in a closet for almost thirty years due to fear of damaging them by
handling/screening them any further. also due to fear that they may
already be piles of disintegrated celluloid.
sell, give away, recycle, or throw out all of the things that i own
but do not need/use. including my boxes of papers and junk from college.
and grad school. and the years in between. and before that.
WRITE, REGULARLY. SOMEWHERE BESIDES HERE.
wash and wax my car.
buy the album "seed" by afro-celt (aka afro-celt sound system).
