check it out: the Pasadena Freeway (110 between downtown LA and its end in Pasadena; Los Angeles's first freeway, originally known as the Arroyo Parkway) will be closed to cars from 6 am to 10 am this Sunday morning because there will be pedestrians and bicyclists on it! something called the Arroyo Fest. I will be there with camera, you betcha (though I haven't decided which would be the best approach: in the midst, or from above). cool!
