free advice: when visiting the beach on a hot sunny day, wait to lie upon a towel until you are sure that your sunblock has had time to dry/set, or you may unwittingly rub off some of the sunblock you just put on and end up like a blotchy lobster.

don't let that keep you from the beach though. what's a summer without at least one good (bad) sunburn? a smallish price to pay for floating in the sea beyond the breakers, lifted up by passing waves, in the company of friends.
