Little Red Riding Hood

...

It's finding the all-one-word double dactyl that's the hardest part. Seems like you'd pretty much have to start with that and build the rest of it from there. Maybe somewhere someone's made a list of them. I tried a couple of Google searches, but didn't come up with any in the first couple of pages. Maybe I should make such a list myself.

oh like I have nothing else to do.

That measly bit was going to be all for today (despite its measliness, I am back on a MUST POST EVERY DAY kick), but then I got it into my head to search for rose-flavored ice cream. I had some back on New Year's Eve day, at the venerable 3rd and Fairfax farmer's market, but it seems to only be a New Year's (Rose Parade/Rose Bowl) thing at that stand where we got it. Went back a month or two later, and it was gone. Sad. Then today I thought, "It must come from somewhere. Maybe there's someone who makes it all year."

Eureka! I found one (I think... we'll have to taste to make sure, but how could it not be good?)! And for added entertainment, the name of this place is Mashti Malone's. Check the Los Angeles Times article reprinted on their site for the scoop on the name (sorry) and a photo of their sign, combining Arabic, a shamrock, and an ice cream cone. Welcome to Hollywood. A mission to investigate will be scheduled at earliest possible convenience, you betcha.
