25 december 2004 day of fambly
cozyness
|
I rode my poor old slightly-rusty bicycle over to its new home (from one carport to another) this afternoon; I'd forgotten about it before. My collegiate bicycling muscles are a mite rusty also. A little more practice (and better aerobics class attendance) ought to sort that out. It's kind of fun riding a bicycle through a suburban neighborhood on Christmas day. Not a single car passed me going my direction on the whole trip (about a mile) (only two cars going the other way), and here and there kids were playing outside with their presents -- racing radio-controlled cars, or pitching pink-and-blue camping tents on the front lawn. merrymaking to all, and to all a good night. sleep well, for tomorrow we grownups shall wield our gift cards with great abandon.
