Hooray, the sun! Radio told me this morning that we got 17 inches of rain over the last 15 days, which is a record for the wettest 15 days in recorded Los Angeles area history. So it wasn't entirely my imagination. We were starting to feel just a bit trapped inside the house.

Interestingly, this period of rain coincided exactly (Tuesday to Monday) with my brother's absence on a trip to Boston and England. Los Angeles cried the whole time, it missed him so. Or, it thought he would be annoyed to miss actual weather, so crammed it all into those two weeks in order to tease him.
