One of the reasons I look forward to having kids some day is that I will absolutely love showing and telling them how stuff works. To the best of my ability, that is. I hope this site is still around for me to refer to when they ask why the sky is blue, because every now and then I forget how to explain it.

and the sky IS blue today! and has been most of this week. June-gloom has gone away, and it is suddenly summer. Must have noticed that summer solstice last weekend. (belated happy midsummer, btw.)
