Continuing a trend of the past year and more, another friend is leaving L.A.; JMK is heading back to the Boston area for more schoolin'. Luckily we managed a final chat over at O'Brien's in Santa Monica (Main Street) on Wednesday evening, where her coworkers organized a sort of good-bye... not party exactly, but hang-out. She'll be gone by the time I get back from San Francisco. She will be driving cross-country, not unlike the sort of family vacations I was talking about on Wednesday, envy envy.

on the road again, bum bum bum bum...
