Yesterday was the actual beginning, but consistent with my history of procrastination, today I begin my second attempt at National Novel Writing Month, a celebration of quantity over quality and actually getting something done. I'm going to try a different story this year than I did last year, and any progress that I manage to make may be recounted here.

I hope to dodge the tingling-nerve bullet this year, since I know what not to do, at least for that particular nerve. To get more words than last year is my first sub-goal. chaaaaarge!
